The dinnerware is called the Constellation d’Or Collection from Vista Alegre and I used a charger, dinner plate, and dessert plate in this place-setting. I paired the dinnerware with crystal red wine glasses and these amber colored Bicos goblets which are also from Vista Alegre. The placemat was a Homegoods find and the flatware is also from Vista Alegre and called the Velvet Matte pattern.
The Place Setting
I used these amber-gold colored napkins and placemats to tie into the amber colored Bicos wine goblets. I also added the taper candles to the candlesticks that were the same color and I really like how it all came together. I don’t use a tablecloth very often since the wood grain of my table is so beautiful but I wanted a more elegant look. A tablecloth protects your table from spills and it’s also a great foundation to any tablescape.
The Centerpiece
For the centerpiece, I used four pre-made garland sections and put them together end to end. I then used small picks of evergreens and berries to fill in any holes. I then added in some gold candlesticks with golden 18″ taper candles and gold wooden trees. They are neutral enough for either a winter themed tablescape or Holiday/Christmas tablescape. After the holidays, you could remove the trees and leave the table set as is for winter or just keep the centerpiece on your table.
The Silverware
The silverware if also from Vista Alegre as mentioned above and is the Velvet Matte Collection. It’s absolutely beautiful and made with the highest quality materials.
The Accents
I am a big fan of adding in accents to my tablescapes. Candlesticks, taper candles, salt and pepper shakers that match or compliment your theme, and, I sometimes tuck things like ornaments or bottle brush trees into my centerpieces. There are so many options so use your imagination!
Here is another Winter Themed Tablescape that I created last year with Vista Alegre.
