Have you ever wanted to set a pretty table using just paper plates? As much as I love using real dishes and setting a pretty table, there is a definitely a time and place for keeping it simple and using paper goods! Thats why I'm sharing how to create a festive fall paper plate tablescape and showing you how to create one that will have everyone talking!

A few weeks ago, I was invited to attend a retreat in the mountains of Utah and the ladies organizing it asked me if I would decorate the tables for the retreat. I said yes, and this is what I came up with. I knew the retreat was in a farmhouse style vacation rental and with it being fall, I wanted to do something that would be that farmhouse style with a fall-ish vibe.

Blue and Yellow Summer/Fall Tablescape

I set this Blue and Yellow Summer/Fall Tablescape a few weeks ago for a family gathering and I really love how it all came together! I had a lot of these colors in my kitchen and dining area from my summer decor and I think these colors also work great for a decor transition into fall!

Summer into Fall Decor

I am never quite ready for summer to end and fall to arrive so maybe that's why I always do a summer into fall transitional tablescape. I had found these yellow and blue plates at HomeGoods and literally went to every HomeGoods store in my area to find them. I never found enough of them for ten place-settings so I used one of my favorite tricks to create enough place-settings for my table.

Black, Yellow, and White Cabin Tablescape

Every summer we spend a few weeks at our little cabin in the Pioneer Mountains of southwest Montana. One of my favorite things to do when we arrive is to set a new tablescape at the cabin. I don't have a lot of black and darker colors in my decor at my other homes, so look forward to setting the table at our cabin when I can use darker colors in my tablescapes. This Black, Yellow, and White Cabin Tablescape was so much fun to create and I love how warm and cozy it is.

I always find something that inspires each tablescape I create. As I mentioned earlier, our cabin has a lot of dark, rustic, colors and and the dining table and chairs are black. Mother’s Day Luncheon | Hosting Your Mom For Mother’s Day

Hosting a Mother's Day Luncheon is a great way to honor and show our love to the mothers and women who make our world a better place.

I wanted to gather the women in my life who have inspired or uplifted me and what better way to do that then hosting a Mother's Day luncheon.

For the decorations, I went with a pastel color palette and set three different tables and a separate dessert table.

The Pink and White Table

For the Pink Table, I used fresh eucalyptus and pink spray roses to create the garland and centerpiece. I layered the garland on top of a white table runner. I typically use this table outdoors in the summer but it works great for the indoors too.

For the Pink Place-setting, I used pink and white dishes, a pink napkin, silver flatware, and glass goblets.
