Christmas Front Porch Decorating Ideas and Tips

I've been so excited to share my Christmas Front Porch Decorating Ideas and Tips with you. I partnered with Martha Stewart and Macy's to decorate my front porch at our Highland, Utah home. This was so much fun and I loved how easy it was to do this!

The Upper Porch

I have an upper and a lower porch so I'll break it up so you can see both sections. I used a mix of fresh greenery that I bought from a local garden store, cut branches from trees in my yard, and I also used artificial greenery from the Martha Stewart Holiday Collection at Macy's. Mixing fresh and faux greenery is one of my favorite tips and tricks to use to decorate my porch.

Blue and Yellow Summer/Fall Tablescape

I set this Blue and Yellow Summer/Fall Tablescape a few weeks ago for a family gathering and I really love how it all came together! I had a lot of these colors in my kitchen and dining area from my summer decor and I think these colors also work great for a decor transition into fall!

Summer into Fall Decor

I am never quite ready for summer to end and fall to arrive so maybe that's why I always do a summer into fall transitional tablescape. I had found these yellow and blue plates at HomeGoods and literally went to every HomeGoods store in my area to find them. I never found enough of them for ten place-settings so I used one of my favorite tricks to create enough place-settings for my table.

I'm sharing all the details of this beautiful Lavender and Teal Spring Tablescape that I set for Sunday dinner a few weeks ago. The darker purple and teal colored flowers were the inspiration behind this tablescape. I love mixing and matching dishes to come up with new place settings and this tablescape came together so beautifully.

The Place-setting

For the place setting on this spring tablescape, I mixed and matched different sets of dishes I already had. I started with a charger, then layered a dinner and salad plate on top. When I set a table, I think about what I'll be serving for the dinner and that's how I decide on how many dishes to use in the place
