How to Create a Versatile Winter Centerpiece Garland
Sharing how to create a beautiful winter centerpiece garland for a festive piece of your winter decorations. How to Create a Versatile Winter Centerpiece Garland
Today I'm sharing how to create a versatile winter centerpiece garland for my dining table. This is the most versatile garland centerpiece and I've used it over and over again to create different Tablescapes for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Winter, and Valentines Day.
I created this garland centerpiece out of one faux cedar garland and then added different types of faux branches and picks into it. I added frosted eucalyptus and painted pine cone picks. All of this is laid on top of a table runner.
To store it and re-use it again, I cut up a large cardboard box and folded the sides up. I slide it onto the cardboard box using the table runner to help slide it and then wrap it in plastic. Doing it this way keeps it in tact and makes it easy to
How to Mix Valentines Day Decorations into your Winter Decor
In this post, I'm sharing an easy and simple way of mixing valentines day and winter decor to repurpose decorations. How to Mix Valentines Day Decorations into your Winter Decor
This past holiday season I decorated our Highland, Utah house with different shades of green and ivory. Blue and Orange Pumpkin Themed Tablescape
Blue and Orange Pumpkin Themed Tablescape
Every year I like to create a pumpkin tablescape and this years came out completely different than I had planned it in my head. Blue was not in my original plan but as I was mixing and matching different dishes to see how they looked together I threw a blue plate in the mix just to see how it looked. The result was this blue and orange pumpkin themed tablescape!
As soon as I saw the blue against the orange, I knew I was changing my original plan. I have a lot of blue decor in my Highland, Utah home and my fall decor colors had a lot of orange colors mixed in so this worked out perfectly and matched my fall decor.
Two Different VersionsWhen I was setting the table, I had it set without the blue bowls. I liked it but then I added the blue bowls onto the table and I instantly liked it more. Here you can see each version. Which is your
Lavender and Mint Green Tablescape
Lavender and Mint Green Tablescape I absolutely love lavender season and look forward to it every summer! I dream of creating a beautiful outdoor tablescape in a lavender field somewhere. Since I wasn't able to do that this summer, I was inspired to create this Lavender and Mint Green tablescape for a luncheon I was hosting at my home. I had planned this tablescape out in my head for months and just before I was ready to start putting it together, Yankee Candle Company reached out to me and asked if I would like to use their new Dried Lavender and Oak candle from their Farmers Market Collection. Of course, I was thrilled because I love using candles in my tablescapes. These candles not only look nice, they smell amazing. The timing of this couldn't have been more perfect. Lavender and Mint Green Place-Setting For the place-setting I chose these hyacinth placemats. I like layering different textures and patterns and these worked perfectly. I used mint green
