Fourth of July Table Settings
The Fourth of July is a time to come together and celebrate the spirit of independence and patriotism. Whether you’re hosting a backyard barbecue, a festive gathering with friends and family, or simply want to add a touch of patriotic flair to your dining table, creating a stunning Fourth of July tablescape can elevate your celebration to new heights. In this blog post, I’ll guide you through the process of designing a captivating and memorable tablescape and share some ideas and inspiration on how to create beautiful Fourth of July Table Settings.
Choose a Patriotic Color Palette
Embrace the vibrant colors of the American flag by incorporating a patriotic color palette into your tablescape. Opt for a combination of red, white, and blue as the primary colors.
The blue and white Buffalo check table linens served as the inspiration for this Fourth of July tablescape.
The table runner, placemats, and napkins are from Solino Home and they worked perfectly for this red, white and blue tablescape. To bring in pops of colors, I used red silverware, blue dinnerware, and cobalt blue glasses.
Mix in rustic elements with the bright colors to help balance the boldness of the red, white, and blue color combination.
To do this I used rustic placemats, wooden candlestick holders, and wood napkin rings.
I also added in some white wooden stars and scattered them across the table, white taper candles, and red salt and pepper shakers.
Make a Festive Centerpiece
I like to make my own centerpieces for my tablescapes. For this tablescape, I arranged faux blueberries in an antique nepali water-pot vase and then added in some felt flags between the blueberries.
It’s a very simple centerpiece that has all the patriotic colors of the table setting and helps carry over the rustic elements by using the wood vase. Sometimes simple is best!
Set your tablescape outdoors
I love having celebrations outdoors when weather permits and the Fourth of July is the perfect time of year to do this! We recently renovated our backyard and this Fourth of July themed tablescape is the first table I set outside in this brand new space. I had so much fun creating this Fourth of July place setting!
I hope this blog post gives some ideas and inspiration on how to create a fun and festive Fourth of July Place setting and Tablesape!
