Thank you so much Joyce! Great question! I usually serve buffet style so I will usually take the smaller plates off the table before we east and stack them next to the buffet area where I serve the food. It also depends on what I&#039;m serving and how many plates will stay on the table. If I have a small bread plate, I will leave that on the table since they will be used at the same time and then if I&#039;m having a salad, or soup, or dessert, I&#039;ll set those dishes near the food so everyone can dish themselves up! I have a question for you, I also like to layer plates for a pretty look, but not sure how to handle all the plates when you serve the meal?  What do you suggest?  Usually the salad plate is too small for the regular meal.
